For the second time this week Publisher’s Clearing House sent me an opportunity to win.
The tally of total opportunities matters not. It is the power of believing. Oh true, the prize patrol has not yet arrived on my doorstep with balloons and a giant check; but they could!
Supposedly, some one will win. It could be me. Or you. Or you. Or you! If you respond before the deadline. Due diligence alone puts me in the running. I’m ready. Winner will be announced soon.
Statistics have never been my thing; not sure if odds are better with PCH or the Florida Lottery. Certainly, when my ship comes in I want to be dockside, not at the airport.
Lately my luck has been on a winning streak. MRI of my spine didn’t show any sign of metastatic disease. Yay! Just some asymptomatic degenerative osteoarthritis. I can live with that.
The THIRD colonoscopy within twelve months also showed no sign of invading mutated colon cancer cells. Yay! Yay! My oncologist is very pleased with my “cleanliness.” My next appointment is in three months.
Based on those minor miracles, how can I not imagine bigger (although materialistic) fulfillment? Selectively sharing the booty is a given.
The search continues for a suitable retirement home. I may have mentioned my preferred community; looking for a comfortable dwelling within the community. It is somewhat of a balancing act.
Neighboring units may be available soon; the family members need to do whatever they need to do prior to listing the properties. One of my sisters is strongly considering a similar purchase so the side by side double wides would be ideal.
Presently I am teetering on the edge of making an offer on one of the few available homes that would be fine; but not exactly what I’m looking for. Do I settle or wait and take a chance that something better will be available closer to the time of my chosen relocation date? There is another good possibility for my sister to consider.
I gotta believe. Imagine. Trust. Easier said than done. Trying to listen to the subtle signs and messages from the angels or the universe or some one! Some where.
